Filmmaker Global aims to establish a strong and diverse international community of professional Videographers, Filmmakers, Photographers and Visual Artists sharing the vision of creativity and innovation. A community transcending borders, where everyone can exchange knowledge, experiences and assist each other, in order to grow both individually and as a sector.
Our International Conference for Videographers focuses mainly on the Modern trends of Wedding Filmmaking. However, nowadays there is a very thin line between modern storytelling wedding videography, and commercial/cinematic film productions. Therefore, our vision is to broaden the horizon of Wedding Videographers by bringing together some of the most distinctive and innovative professionals of their respective fields.
Our panels include speakers from the wedding filmmaking industry, but also commercial film directors, Photographers, Professionals of the Film Industry etc.
ORGANIZERS
The concept of Filmmaker Global was born from the idea of Kostas Petsas of Cinema Of Poetry (Greece) and Daniele Donati of Daniele Donati Films (Italy) to create an international community of professional videographers who can exchange knowledge and experiences, connect and help each other. The first event in Athens has been embraced by videographers and photographers from all over the world and exceeded people’s expectations.
We are heading to Rome for the next gathering in April 2025 to write the next chapter in this adventure and shape the future of this Community together. Be there!
Kostas Petsas
Hello, I am Kostas. My passion for cinema, music, and poetry has always been my driving force. Back in high school, I used to write poetry and play guitar in a pop band. After acquiring a strong scientific background in university, life has led me to follow different professional paths, focusing first on academic research and consequently on finance and business. But I never really found myself in this. I have eventually decided to quit office life and find my way back to arts, as a filmmaker and as a photographer. As a wedding filmmaker for the past 10 years, my philosophy has always been to focus on the things that matter the most: people, moments, and emotions.
Today, the Cinema of Poetry is considered to be one of the most Awarded Filmmakers internationally. I’ve been privileged to earn over 70 prestigious videography awards, acknowledging my roles as a director, filmmaker, and editor. These accolades have been granted by esteemed Professional Associations and International Film Festivals, many of which have screened my films as Official Selections in movie theaters across the globe. Elected as Best International Filmmaker for 5 years in a row by Inspiration Photographers, Asia WPA and Way Up North, Best Film in Europe, and Most Awarded Videographer worldwide are only some of the milestones in this beautiful journey so far.
Awards per se may be regarded as meaningless vanity, but the love and trust from a diverse and independent audience of industry experts serve as a profound motivation to grow and keep crafting stories with authenticity and heart. I firmly believe that true creativity thrives in authenticity, even when you have to go against the trends.

As a seasoned professional in the field, I have had the privilege of honing my craft within the backdrop of Italy’s national television and the enchanting world of cinema. My name is Daniele Donati, and I am the driving force behind Daniele Donati Films.
With a portfolio enriched by experiences within the heart of Italian media and the cinematic arena, my passion for videography has evolved into a remarkable odyssey. Presently, my focus rests on capturing the essence of matrimonial celebrations, crafting memories that transcend time. Beyond my role as a videographer, I proudly hold the position of President at ANV (Associazione Nazionale Videografi) in Italy, a testament to my dedication to the videography community.
My journey extends beyond the lens, as I am deeply committed to nurturing the next generation of videographers. Through professional training initiatives, I delve into the intricacies of audiovisual language, cinematic syntax, image photography, storytelling, narrative structure, and the art of marketing specifically tailored for videographers. These courses encapsulate the very essence of what it means to bring stories to life through the lens.
