Filmmaker Global is the biggest annual, International Conference for Videographers and Professionals of the moving image. It focuses on Wedding Videography but is not limited to it. Bringing together some of the most influential speakers in our industry, and visual artists from all over the world, we create a unique, inclusive, professional community that pushes the boundaries in the sector of Videography.
Filmmaker Global combines two parallel, independent, events that celebrate the art of Videography and Cinema:
- 2-day International Conference for Videographers (access reserved to ticket holders)
- International Film Festival with live screenings, transparent and anonymous live judging, and a prestigious Award Ceremony (Festival open for everyone to submit and attend)
An opportunity to grow professionally, both as individuals and as a sector.
We aim to host the Event in a different European city every year.

The Filmmaker Global International Conference for Videographers brings together some of the most influential filmmakers and innovative artists on the international scene. Focused on -but not limited to- the wedding industry, it enables you to hear from the best, get inspired, and grow professionally. We are excited to announce the 2025 line-up of the Filmmaker Global Conference. These mentors will also be members of the jury for the Film Festival.
VENUE
The event will take place at the SPACE CINEMA MODERNO. A historic gem nestled in the heart of Rome, offering a truly cinematic experience. Located in the central Piazza della Repubblica, this iconic cinema, built in early 1904, boasts stunning projection spaces that have captivated audiences for over a century. Our event will take place in a projection room featuring a glamorous 1904 affresco named “the Triumph of Light”. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the magic of film within the vibrant tapestry of Rome’s historic center.

FILM FESTIVAL
Our Film Festival gathers some of the best videography and filmmaking works globally. Challenge yourself to participate in the contest for the best wedding, elopement, commercial, or short film of the year in a transparent festival with live judging. All official selections of the festival are screened anonymously in a movie theater, discussed, and voted on by an esteemed international jury. In a prestigious award ceremony, nine trophies overall are attributed to the winning film directors.
The Film Festival is Open for everyone to submit their films and to attend the live screenings, independently from attending the Conference or not.
